Importantly, the car retains the Carrera GT’s 5.7-liter natural aspirated V10 and six-speed manual transmission, though it has been upgraded: Specs seem to vary depending on where you look, but Gemballa claims the Mirage GT put out 670 hp thanks in part to a new exhaust and ECU tuning. Body panels had been swapped around, aero and a rooftop air intake added and eye-grabbing paint applied, but compared to the company’s earlier works it’s the very picture of restraint. With the Mirage GT, Gemballa was smart enough to not mess with the basic goodness of the Carrera GT that served as its starting point.
